GIGI Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of GIGI, an AI-based fitness and nutrition app.

1. Acceptance

By using GIGI, creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using any service feature, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. Service description

GIGI provides tools to create and follow workout plans, log progress, analyze nutrition and meals, receive voice coaching, import or generate workouts, analyze photos or videos and integrate health data authorized by the user.

Some features use artificial intelligence and may depend on external systems, backend availability, quality of input data and permissions granted on the device.

3. Age requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use GIGI. If you are under 18, you must use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

4. Account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for the security of your credentials and activity under your account.
You may not transfer, sell or share your account in an unauthorized way.
We may suspend or limit your account in case of violations, abuse, security risks or legitimate requests from authorities.

5. Subscriptions and payments

GIGI may offer free features and paid features. In-app purchases and subscriptions may be managed by Apple App Store, Google Play Store and RevenueCat. Prices, duration, renewal, cancellation and refunds are shown before purchase and managed according to the applicable store rules.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
Cancellation normally does not refund already paid periods, except where required by law or store policy.
Loss of access to an entitlement may depend on expiry, refund, chargeback, payment issues or store synchronization.

6. Apple EULA

For the app distributed through the Apple App Store, the app license is also governed by Apple's standard EULA, unless otherwise specified in App Store Connect. You can read it here: Apple Standard EULA.

These Terms govern the GIGI service, accounts, AI features, health warnings, user content and usage rules.

7. Health, fitness, nutrition and AI warnings

GIGI is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.

Plans, analysis and suggestions do not replace a doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, physiotherapist or qualified personal trainer.
Consult a professional before starting workout or nutrition programs, especially if you have medical conditions, pregnancy, injuries, pain, medication or special circumstances.
Stop activity immediately and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, nausea, breathing difficulty or other abnormal symptoms.
Artificial intelligence may make mistakes, misunderstand inputs, estimate calories or technique incorrectly and generate incomplete content.
You are responsible for deciding whether exercises, loads, foods and suggestions are appropriate for your situation.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use GIGI for illegal, dangerous or harmful purposes;
upload unlawful, offensive, non-owned content or content that violates third-party rights;
circumvent limits, quotas, subscriptions, security systems or access controls;
extract data, copy, resell, sublicense or replicate the service without authorization;
interfere with backend, APIs, stores, payments or technical infrastructure.

9. User content

You keep ownership of the content you upload, including photos, videos, workout data, meals, files and preferences. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license, revocable within technical limits, to host, process and display that content only to provide GIGI and the requested features.

You are responsible for uploaded content and must ensure you have the necessary rights and consents, especially if it contains images, data or information about other people.

10. Intellectual property

GIGI, the software, design, brand, text, interfaces, databases, content models and service elements are protected by applicable laws. You do not acquire rights to the service beyond the limited license of use provided by these Terms and applicable stores.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue service features, introduce technical limits, update AI models, change providers or fix errors. We will try to communicate material changes where reasonably possible.

12. Privacy

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. By using GIGI you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy and manage consents required for optional features. On the web landing page we show a cookie notice with an acceptance button and use first-party analytics to measure visits and interactions.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GIGI is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee specific fitness, health, body composition, performance or weight-loss results, complete accuracy of AI estimates or uninterrupted availability of the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including intentional misconduct, gross negligence, mandatory consumer rights or personal injury where applicable law so provides.

14. Withdrawal, account closure and data deletion

You may stop using GIGI at any time. You may request account deletion and data export through the app privacy features, where available, or by writing to contact@g2dev.it. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by stores: you must manage them through App Store or Google Play. For requests about anonymous landing events, provide the notice ID shown or communicated by the site.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in your country of residence. For consumer users, the competent court is determined by applicable law. Where relevant, you can consult the European ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The updated version will be published on this page. If changes are material, we may notify you through the app, email or another reasonable notice.
